About Dusharm's

The first Dusharm's was an exclusive sporting goods store that was located at Oak and Brewster Roads in Vineland. Kerry's father opened the store in 1981 with the concept of providing sporting goods to leagues and schools at an extemely high service level. While he was able to make ends meet for the first two years it was a constant struggle. About that time there was a sneaker craze going on in the U.S. and Kerry's father decided to switch some of his purchasing money away from sporting goods and took a shot at the athletic footwear segment. When sporting goods and athletic footwear came together the market niche for Dusharm's was born. In 1986 space at the Oak and Brewster location was limited and the decision to move product closer to our customers was made. Dusharms relocated to Landis Avenue and has remained a constant high service athletic footwear and sporting good provider in the community. Dusharms now services over 15 local high schools, several major state colleges and institutions, youth organizations in several counties, as well as, our many customers in South Jersey.
